Solution Architect (Demand to Pay, Travel & Expense Management)
Designs, implements, and optimizes business‑driven, standards‑based, future‑ready solutions within a complex enterprise context. Translates complex business requirements into technical designs for Concur and related systems, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement. Leads others to solve complex problems, maintains vision and roadmap for the T&E landscape, and serves as a key leader and escalation point for Concur‑related issues.
Responsibilities
Design T&E solutions that meet product requirements and enterprise standards across multiple solutions, managing non‑functional requirements and ensuring configuration adheres to data privacy and audit requirements.
Define and drive reference architectures, documenting Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways for the T&E product.
Develop comprehensive architecture documentation and manage data flows between Concur and other enterprise systems including Workday, SAP ERP, ServiceNow (EPP), IQVIA, and Oversight.
Lead the design and management of non‑standard integrations using RESTful APIs, Web Services, and secure SFTP, leveraging middleware platforms such as MuleSoft and Denodo.
Optimize system performance and business objectives using reporting systems and data platforms including Concur Intelligence, Snowflake, and standard reporting configurations.
Contribute to global Architecture Practices, provide technical oversight and mentoring to product teams, and maintain the roadmap for T&E solutions while evaluating external technology trends such as AI‑driven expense categorization and RPA to enhance value and manage technical debt.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience designing and implementing solutions within the Concur platform, with at least 5 years focused on integration enhancements to and from Concur Intelligence, Travel, and Expense.
Expert‑level knowledge of Concur modules and proven track record of integrating with SAP ERP, HR systems (Workday), and other enterprise applications.
Experience in RESTful API consumption, data transformation via middleware (MuleSoft/Denodo), and creating conceptual and logical data models.
Visionary leadership for multiple solutions and assessment of impacts on capabilities, risk, and application landscape.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and convey complex concepts.
Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, web services, and XML/JSON data formats.
Knowledge of financial accounting principles and T&E best practices; pharmaceutical industry regulations experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; “Certified Professional – Expense Configuration” credential preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Expected salary range for Warsaw: 228,900.00 PLN – 425,100.00 PLN. Compensation determined by skills, experience, qualifications, and location. Role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 20% based on individual and company performance. Additional benefits are part of the attractive benefits package.
