PMO Specialist - part-time role (f/m/x)

Your responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining the IT project plan, milestone plan, dependency list, risk register, decision log, and open issues list
  • Coordinating the IT scope for production, logistics, and Shopfloor IT systems related to the launch of the cabin welding and painting facilities
  • Managing IT infrastructure tasks, including LAN/WLAN networks, infrastructure connections, workstations, industrial IT devices, printers/labelers, servers, central services, and IT security requirements
  • Supporting technical agreements between local teams in Niepołomice, central teams in Munich, VW, and external suppliers
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, meeting minutes, status presentations, steering reports, and decision materials
  • Monitoring project progress, budget, quality, risks, scope changes, and corrective actions
  • Organizing and moderating project meetings, workshops, risk reviews, readiness reviews, and decision-making meetings
  • Managing the project in a hybrid model, combining classic IT PEP approaches with agile elements where justified by the system scope
  • Coordinating IT testing, acceptance, operational readiness, handover for maintenance, and project closure activities
  • Ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders and escalating issues requiring decisions

Our requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management or PMO support for IT projects
  • Experience in industrial, production, logistics, or Shopfloor IT projects, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Practical knowledge of project planning, scheduling, project controlling, reporting, risk management, and dependency management
  • Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams and local and central stakeholders
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and task management tools
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach
  • Willingness to travel and be present on-site in Niepołomice once per month
  • Fluent Polish
  • Advanced level of English

Optional

  • Knowledge of the German language
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure issues in a production environment, IT security, industrial networks, and system integration
  • Experience in launch, migration, or construction projects for new production areas
