Strategic Buyer (M/K)

For our client we are looking for candidates for the position of Strategic Buyer. The offer applies to permanent work.ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

• Lead the strategic procurement activities for specific material groups within the Cabin segment
• Define and implement sourcing and category strategies for the assigned commodity groups
• Ensure execution of the procurement strategy within current sourcing initiatives and tenders
• Coordinate and drive cross-brand collaboration within the Glass Commodity
• Analyze global supply markets and identify, evaluate and develop strategic suppliers
• Collaborate closely with Logistics and Sales functions to optimize tyre supply strategies and operational execution
• Manage RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations and perform commercial benchmarking
• Lead price, contract and commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve best in class total cost performance
• Prepare management decision papers and sourcing recommendations for corporate committees
• Support procurement-related projects associated with truck cab components and systems
• Ensure material availability and proactively mitigate supply chain risks and potential shortages
• Negotiate engineering changes, cost impacts and commercial adjustments with serial production suppliers
• Ensure availability of components, production tooling and related supplier capacities
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain procurement master data
• Develop and implement supplier and category strategies to secure long-term supply stability, competitiveness and innovation

WYMAGANIA:
• We are looking for someone with previous experience of procurement work; it is an advantage if you already have experience with plastics, rubber and/or electronics parts
• To be successful in the role, you need to be results-oriented, analytical and have the ability to run several assignments in parallel in a structured way
• You have a degree in industrial engineering, business administration or other relevant academic degree
• You have the ability to work long-term and proactively, to be able to improve and streamline our operations and to be able to support colleagues in the best possible way
• You enjoy taking initiative, working independently and developing the role you are in
• Occasionally going beyond your area of responsibility to achieve long-term and sustainable results is not something you shy away from
• As a person, you are positive and contribute to good team spirit in the groups you work in, even if the pace of work is sometimes high
• As the role involves a large international network and some travel, an advanced level of English, both in writing and verbally, is mandatory, and good knowledge of Polish, German or Swedish is an advantage
• A driver's license for car
