Project Manager for Core Technology Projects

General info: Model of work: hybrid (3x per week work from office in Gdańsk) Type of contract: B2B, long-term cooperation Rate: 140 PLN net + vat/ hour Languages: Fluent English is required Introduction & Summary: We are seeking a Senior PMO Consultant specializing in Core Technology Change & Delivery to enhance portfolio governance, planning, reporting, and execution activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in PMO, Portfolio Management, or Project Management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale technology initiatives and ensuring compliance and transparency. Main Responsibilities: The consultant will undertake the following core duties: Drive portfolio and project reporting activities and management reporting. Coordinate planning, milestone tracking, risks, issues, dependencies, and action management. Support resource planning, financial follow-up, and forecasting activities. Prepare executive presentations, governance material, and steering committee reports. Support portfolio governance forums and ensure follow-up of decisions and actions. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and reporting capabilities. Support delivery planning, prioritization, and portfolio management activities across the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders across Core Technology and Business Areas. Key Requirements: The following qualifications are mandatory: Minimum 5 years of PMO, Portfolio Management, or Project Management experience. Experience supporting large-scale technology or transformation portfolios. Strong knowledge of portfolio governance, planning, and reporting. Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, and action tracking. Nice to Have: Complementary skills that would be beneficial: Experience from banking or financial services. Experience in large international organizations. Knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies. Experience with financial tracking and resource management. Experience with portfolio management and reporting tools. Experience in driving process improvements, reporting automation, and data-driven decision support.
