Senior Financial Data Analyst

For one of our clients, SSC of a global manufacturing leader based in the center of Poznan, we are looking for Senior   Financial Data Analyst (Tax Team).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial data analysis, reporting, finance transformation, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in driving process improvements, standardization, or automation initiatives within finance or accounting environments.
• Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP , including extracting and analyzing financial data.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and good command of other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Power BI will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with data transformation or ETL tools such as Power Query, Alteryx , or similar solutions is a plus.
• Fluent English (min. B2)
• Additional foreign languages will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and maintain the Finance team's data requirements while identifying connections with other business functions and stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted partner for finance teams by supporting both recurring and ad hoc data requests and recommending improvements where needed.
• Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency through automation and system enhancements.
• Analyze large datasets, develop meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the organization's data management approach within the Finance function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to ensure data consistency and support business initiatives.
