Accounting Manager

Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support our Finance Team.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end oversight of AP, AR, and GL processes
• Accountability for timeliness and accuracy of month-end and year-end closing
• Direct management and mentoring of the accounting team (AP, AR, GL)
• Development of team capabilities and knowledge continuity
• Establishing backup structures and cross-functional coverage
• Development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Implementation of global finance policies & procedures across all supported regions
• Roll‑out of standardized finance operating model (AP, AR, Cost Accounting, etc.)
• Identification and implementation of process automation opportunities
• Perform ad‑hoc projects as necessary
• Cost and performance framework deployment
• Ensuring compliance with local statutory accounting and reporting requirements, group accounting policies, tax regulations
• Supports Finance Director with the implementation of ongoing development of company’s internal controls and maintain best practice accounting processes
• Supporting reconciliation and validation processes
• Improving cash management structure and reducing operational complexity
• Coordination of internal and external audits

Qualifications

• Corporate accounting or public accounting experience
• CPA, ACCA and public accounting experience preferred
• Experience working in a multi‑currency international business
• Experience leading projects and teams
• Thorough understanding of accounting procedures
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent task management and priority set up skills
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as accounting software
• Analytical skills, displaying an ability to gather, relate and compare data, and ensure data is reliable, accurate and complete
• Detail orientation to ensure related tasks are completed timely and accurately
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
• English (C1), other languages preferred
