AI Software Architect (M/K)

For our client we are looking for a candidate for the position of Software Architect to help define and evolve the software foundations of a next-generation AI compute platform. This role involves designing software systems that interface seamlessly with deep learning frameworks and collaborating closely with hardware teams to shape future product capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming Model Development: define and implement the programming model that enables developers to efficiently utilize our compute platform for AI workloads
• Framework Interfacing: design and maintain software interfaces that connect our internal systems with widely used external and open-source deep learning frameworks
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work closely with hardware architecture and design teams to align software capabilities with evolving hardware features
• Technical Leadership: provide architectural guidance across software teams, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
• Strategic Input: contribute to long-term planning by identifying software-driven opportunities for future hardware enhancements

Qualifications:

• Strong background in systems architecture, software architecture, or compiler development
• Experience designing software interfaces for AI hardware platforms or accelerators
• Familiarity with external frameworks used in deep learning and AI inference
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience with custom hardware platforms or embedded systems
• Experience in integrating software with open-source AI frameworks
• Familiarity with performance optimization for deep learning workloads
