About Our Client
Our client is a rapidly expanding global FinTech organization operating at the intersection of technology and financial services. With a strong international presence and a focus on innovation, the company is currently building a new SSC structure in Gdańsk, creating opportunities to shape processes and drive operational excellence. The target working model is 3 days per week from the office.
Job Description
- Own the quality and integrity of Czech Republic & Slovakia finance outputs across end‑to‑end processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, treasury, tax, fixed assets)
- Ensure upstream transactional activity is accurately reflected in accounting, reporting and compliance
- Govern the month‑end close, including timetable, approvals and ensuring outputs are complete and review‑ready before submission
- Execute core accounting activities including postings, accruals, allocations, reconciliations and issue resolution
- Produce management reporting packs, variance commentary and clear explanations for onshore stakeholders
- Act as the primary point of contact for Czech & Slovak finance teams, managing queries, priorities and escalations
- Coordinate day‑to‑day work within the scope, ensuring deadlines, quality and control requirements are met
- Provide senior guidance, review support and knowledge sharing to junior team members
- Support audit processes, external reporting and compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements, standardisation and best practices
- Support Workday Financials implementation, including data validation, testing and issue resolution during transition
The Successful Applicant
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end accounting processes and controls
- Experience working with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle)
- Fluent Czech and English (mandatory)
- Proven ability to act as a key contact for stakeholders in an international environment
- Experience reviewing work, providing guidance and supporting less experienced team members
- 4+ years of experience in accounting and finance operations
- Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA or in progress) is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Proactive and solution‑oriented approach
