Customs Specialist (M/K)

For our client we are looking for a candidate for the position of Customs Specialist.ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

• Supporting the Team Lead in translating customs and foreign trade law requirements into the corporate context
• (Re-)Designing and monitoring company-wide processes in the context of preferences and free trade agreements
• Independently carrying out projects or subprojects in the area of preferences/free trade agreements at national and international level
• Monitoring legal changes in the areas of EU customs law, preferential law and free trade agreements
• Defining functional requirements for system implementation in SAP GTS as well as providing functional support for the processes in SAP GTS
• Managing supplier declarations and carrying out system-based preferential origin calculations
• Performing analysis of preferential calculations, contacting suppliers and issuing supplier declarations
• Initiating and conducting qualification and training measures

WYMAGANIA:

• Higher education degree in Customs Administration or an equivalent qualification in customs, taxation, finance, or public administration
• Fluent English
• Good professional knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel and Powerpoint) as well as user knowledge of SAP ERP systems, ideally including SAP GTS
• Knowledge in the areas of foreign trade law (e.g. EU customs law, preferential law or similar)
• At least five years of professional experience, preferably in customs administration, foreign trade consulting or a comparable industrial function
