About the Role 

We’re building something unusual: a marketing function that covers two very different — and equally exciting — directions. 

Honeycomb Software is a software development and consulting company with 10 years on the market, serving clients in the US and Europe. Alongside our services business, we’re launching beezi.ai — an AI development orchestration platform that helps engineering teams plan, execute, and track software delivery with AI, right inside their existing tools. 

Beezi.ai sits between a Jira ticket and production-ready code. It routes tasks across AI models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini), runs work in parallel, learns from your codebase, and gives engineering managers full visibility into velocity, AI adoption, and cost — without changing how the team works. The buyer is a CTO or VP of Engineering who wants measurable ROI from AI, not just another coding tool. 

As Head of Marketing, you’ll own both. That means taking beezi.ai to market from scratch and simultaneously strengthening Honeycomb’s brand as a trusted service partner and employer. It’s a rare chance to lead product and service marketing in one role — with full ownership, direct access to founders, and a real team to build with. 

Your Mission 

  • Launch beezi.ai — define positioning, build GTM strategy for a dev-tools enterprise product, drive early traction 
  • Strengthen Honeycomb Software’s brand as a service vendor and employer 
  • Generate qualified leads for both directions 
  • Build and evolve the marketing function: processes, team, and playbook 
  • Build and lead a team  

Key Responsibilities 

Product Marketing — beezi.ai 

  • Own the go-to-market strategy: positioning, ICP (CTOs, VP Engineering, enterprise), messaging, channels 
  • Plan and execute the product launch — content, campaigns, distribution 
  • Build demand generation: LinkedIn, email, content marketing, thought leadership 
  • Create sales materials that speak to engineering leaders: ROI cases, cost-savings metrics, technical one-pagers 
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and sales to align roadmap with messaging 
  • Track performance and iterate 

Service Marketing — Honeycomb Software 

  • Audit and rebuild marketing strategy for the services business 
  • Strengthen positioning as a software development partner and employer brand 
  • Generate inbound leads and support outbound efforts 
  • Create sales enablement materials: presentations, case studies, proposals, pitch decks 
  • Participate in presale calls to sharpen value propositions 

Team & Operations 

  • Set goals, KPIs, and priorities for the marketing team 
  • Coordinate external contractors or agencies when needed 
  • Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on data 
  • Drive marketing activities around events, webinars, and conferences 

What We’re Looking For  

Must Have  

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing 
  • Experience working in an IT services or product company 
  • Experience with product launch — startup, internal product, or new service line counts 
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market and product marketing frameworks 
  • Ability to market to technical buyers: CTOs, engineering managers, VP Engineering 
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on 
  • Sales enablement experience: decks, case studies, whitepapers, messaging frameworks 
  • Hands-on experience with marketing tools (HubSpot or similar) 
  • Data-driven approach and familiarity with analytics 
  • Experience working with US or European B2B markets 
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher 

Nice to Have  

  • Experience marketing developer tools, SaaS, or enterprise software 
  • Familiarity with the devtools or AI-tools market — who the buyers are, how they evaluate products 
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) 
  • Experience building partner ecosystems or reseller/channel partnerships 
  • Background in a service company that later launched its own product 
  • Experience building marketing from scratch in an early-stage environment
