Lead QA Manager (Senior) - SAP Test Management

We are currently expanding our project team and looking for several experienced Lead QA Managers (Senior) – SAP Test Management to support an international enterprise project for a leading client. The role combines end-to-end Test Management, QA governance and project coordination within a complex enterprise IT and SAP environment. You will take ownership of the overall testing approach, coordinate multiple testing activities and stakeholders, and use SAP Solution Manager as a core tool for test planning, execution, traceability and defect management. Your Responsibilities Define and own the overall test strategy, methodology and test approach Define and coordinate end-to-end test planning and execution Determine appropriate test levels, test types and testing methodologies based on project scope and risks Manage test sessions, resources, systems and test environments Define and oversee test specifications and test cases Own and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) Define and monitor test entry and exit criteria, quality gates and readiness criteria Lead Test Coordinators and support testing teams throughout execution Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritisation, resolution and verification Monitor testing progress, blockers, risks and dependencies Provide regular status reporting to project management and senior stakeholders Prepare and review Test Summary Reports, RTM and Validation Reports Ensure complete, consistent and audit-ready test documentation Drive QA governance and continuous improvement of Test Management processes Coordinate testing across multiple systems, teams and workstreams Support PMO activities including status tracking, actions, risks, issues and dependencies Own the use of SAP Solution Manager for test planning, execution, requirements traceability and defect management Work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, SAP teams and other technical teams Your Profile Several years of experience in Test Management, QA Management or Software Test Leadership Proven experience taking ownership of end-to-end testing activities Strong practical knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, particularly its Test Management capabilities Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test strategies and QA best practices Experience defining testing approaches across functional, integration, system, regression, UAT and end-to-end testing Experience adapting testing methodologies to Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project environments Strong understanding of risk-based testing, requirements-based testing and test prioritisation Experience defining and monitoring test entry/exit criteria and quality gates Strong experience with defect management and requirements traceability Experience coordinating multiple test streams, teams or Test Coordinators Experience working within complex enterprise IT and SAP landscapes Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills Ability to identify testing risks, dependencies and bottlenecks and proactively drive resolution Structured, independent and quality-focused working style Very good English skills – B2+/C1 Nice to Have Experience in complex SAP transformation or migration programmes SAP S/4HANA project experience Experience in large-scale international enterprise environments Experience in regulated or quality-critical IT environments ISTQB Advanced / Test Manager or another relevant certification Previous experience leading distributed or international testing teams What We Offer The Project & Work Model Ownership of QA and Test Management within an international enterprise IT project Collaboration with experienced consultants, project managers and technical teams 100% remote work Full-time cooperation: 40 hours/week Long-term project engagement Benefits & Development B2B or employment contract Industry leading healthcare and comprehensive medical coverage (Luxmed) MultiSport card Opportunities to enhance your qualifications (MS certifications, Udemy courses, etc.) Customizable 1-on-1 English or German lessons Modern computer equipment Opportunities to network and connect (get-togethers, team-building events) Employee referral programme Flexible working schedule Work Model 100% remote within Poland Ready to take ownership of QA and Test Management in a complex SAP and enterprise IT environment?
