About Company

We are building an international portfolio of RES (PV, wind), BESS, and data center projects in markets across Latin America, Africa, and Central Europe. All projects are at an early stage, and the organization operates on a lean model – "one person, many hats".

We are looking for someone to take responsibility for the operational management of specific projects from securing the land to the Ready to Build (RtB) stage, relieving the Head of International of the day-to-day development management.

The Role

In this position, you will be a Project Developer responsible for the development of PV, wind, BESS, and data center projects in foreign markets – from site control, through permitting and the technical side, all the way to bankable RtB.

This is a role combining commerce, permitting, and engineering in one person – we are not looking for a narrow specialist, but someone who takes a broad view, manages multiple threads simultaneously, and can independently "command" a project.

Your Tasks

• Independently managing assigned PV, wind, BESS, and data center projects from securing the land to RtB in selected foreign markets.

• Combining the commercial perspective (market, regulations, PPA, project economics, negotiations), permitting (environment, land, administrative decisions), and engineering (selection of technology and project configuration, technical/resource studies, engineering-construction schedule, coordination with EPC and technology suppliers) into one cohesive process.

• Utilizing internal resources (legal, financial, technical, BD) and managing the work of external contractors (law firms, environmental and technical consultants, land brokers, EPCs, technology suppliers).

• Systematically managing projects within organizational tools (e.g., Trello), monitoring milestones, schedules, and budgets, and maintaining documentation in accordance with lender standards (IFC/IADB/DFI).

• Identifying gaps (in data, documentation, templates, processes), clearly communicating what is missing, and proactively creating missing tools/processes if they do not exist – instead of waiting for ready-made solutions.

• Preparing recommendations: whether to continue, modify, or terminate a project – based on a realistic assessment of risks, economics, and feasibility.

   

Who are we looking for?

Experience

• Many years of experience in the development of RES (wind, PV, BESS) and/or data center projects, including independently leading at least one project from securing the land to RtB.

• Real experience in developing projects abroad – comfort operating in various regulatory and cultural realities.

• A combined understanding of the commercial side (market, regulations, PPA, economics, negotiations) and the technical side (land, environment, grid connection, engineering basics) – this role is not just "commercial" nor purely "technical".

Mindset and attitude

• "Doer" – someone who takes matters into their own hands, does not wait for perfect instructions, but structures the process themselves and delivers results.

• No "blinders" – a broad perspective, the ability to grasp multiple threads and stakeholders simultaneously (commerce, permitting, engineering, procurement, EPC).

• Independence and proactivity – if there is no template or procedure, you naturally take the initiative, create it, and implement it as a repeatable way of working.

• Systematic approach to maintaining documentation and schedules, combined with flexibility and readiness to change course when the situation demands it.

• Stress resistance and agility, comfort working in a scale-up where not all processes are fully refined and must be co-created.

Knowledge and skills

• Basics of RES (wind/PV/BESS) and/or data center design and technology, grid connection conditions, environmental and land requirements in large infrastructure projects.

• Basics of energy law and RES market regulations in international markets, PPA and offtake mechanisms, project economics (CAPEX/OPEX, LCOE).

• Understanding of project bankability requirements (IFC/IADB/DFI standards) – you don't need to be an expert, but you must navigate this area with ease.

• Ability to switch between the languages of engineers, lawyers, investors, and officials , and conduct substantive discussions with each of them.

• Fluency in spoken and written English.

What will we consider a success?

• After 1 month: you thoroughly know your project/portfolio (status, documentation, partners, risks), and you understand our tools and documentation standards.

• After 3 months: you independently manage assigned projects, have identified and addressed key risks, organized documentation, and report regularly.

• After 12 months: there is visible, real progress on several projects towards RtB, you have developed a repeatable way of working, and built a network of local partners and advisors in key markets.
