Junior AI Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior AI Engineer with at least 1 year of commercial experience to join our team and support the development of AI solutions that solve real business problems. In this role, you will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and cloud engineers, contributing to the design, build, and deployment of AI systems in production environments, with guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities

AI Solution Development

• Support the design and development of machine learning models and AI algorithms.

• Assist in implementing AI features aligned with business and user needs.

• Help deploy and operate AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• Contribute to the reliability, performance, and maintainability of AI systems in production.

Data & Model Engineering

• Support the design of data pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments.

• Assist with data preprocessing, ingestion, and transformation activities.

• Help monitor data quality and flag potential data drift issues.

• Support model training, evaluation, and tuning under senior guidance.

Integration & Deployment

• Help integrate AI components into existing systems and workflows.

• Assist with production deployments, monitoring, and basic maintenance tasks.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with stakeholders to help gather requirements and contribute to AI solutions.

• Maintain clear technical documentation for your work.

• Communicate progress and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Research & Innovation

• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and best practices.

• Experiment with new approaches to improve existing and future solutions.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of commercial experience working as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI or ML systems in real-world/production projects.

• Good working proficiency in Python .

• Experience with at least one agentic framework (e.g. LangChain, pydantic-ai, strands, Agent-ai ).

• Working knowledge of at least one ML frameworks ( TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn ).

• Practical exposure to NLP, computer vision, or related AI domains .

• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms ( AWS preferred, Azure or GCP welcome).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Basic familiarity with Agile methodologies.
