Android Software Engineer (AI-Native) Work Type: 100% Remote / Praca Zdalna Contract Type: Employment Contract / Umowa o Pracę (UoP) About the Role We are building proactive, AI-native mobile applications designed to bring intelligence to everyday tasks, organization, and workflows with minimal prompting. As an Android Software Engineer, you will own the mobile client experience—how AI feels, behaves, and performs on device. This is not a thin-client role. You will build a production app where AI interactions are core to the product, and performance, reliability, and responsiveness are paramount. What You’ll Do Build and maintain production Android apps using Kotlin. Integrate AI features (chat, vision, voice, recommendations) via backend APIs. Design UX patterns for AI workflows (streaming responses, retries, partial results). Optimize app performance, memory, and responsiveness for AI-heavy flows. Implement analytics, logging, and feedback loops for AI evaluation. Collaborate closely with backend and ML engineers on API contracts and system behavior. Requirements 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin. Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML features (LLMs, vision, speech APIs). Strong grasp of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow). Familiarity with REST or gRPC APIs. Solid skills in performance profiling, debugging, and handling network latency or non-deterministic outputs. Experience with MLKit or light on-device inference. Published production apps on the Google Play Store. Tech Stack: Kotlin, Java, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow Lite.
