Intel is building the next generation of software innovation through the oneAPI software stack, a unified programming model that enables developers to harness CPUs, GPUs, and accelerators. We are looking for a Compiler Engineer to join our Intel Compiler Engineering Team, part of the Software Team focused on AI and foundational software stacks.

Responsibilities

• Help set the technical direction and design language extensions, runtimes, and features that enable portable, high‑performance offload for our processor platforms.
• Collaborate with teams at LLVM.org and across Intel’s compiler and runtimes teams to ensure our extensions integrate with the broader ecosystem.
• Deliver rock‑solid performance, reliability and developer experience from silicon to software.
• Lead community efforts in open standards and LLVM initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 2+ years of experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on compiler development with demonstrated contributions to LLVM.org (commit history, patches, reviews).
• 3+ years of experience with accelerated computing and parallel programming models on GPUs.
• 3+ years of experience in compiler or application performance tuning to achieve optimal runtime and throughput.
• Expert‑level C/C++ and deep understanding of systems programming.
• Hardware knowledge of modern CPU, GPU, and accelerator architecture (preferred).
• Ability to analyze and optimize language runtimes, scheduling, and memory models across heterogeneous architectures.
• Patents or significant technical innovations in compiler technology (preferred).
• Demonstrated cross‑industry collaboration on language standards and specifications.

• Primary Location: Gdansk, Poland
• Eligible for a hybrid work model.

Compensation

Annual salary range: zł254,240.00 – zł457,640.00 (Poland). Final offer will include additional pay components and benefits as part of our total compensation approach.
