About the project

Join the team to develop a flagship cloud product used by engineering professionals worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to act as a quality advocate, drive our automation and manual testing strategies, and shape robust, scalable solutions in an international AWS environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive software testing plans and execute both manual and automated tests, utilizing C#, Selenium, and Playwright.
  • Guide the team on automation best practices - identifying the right scenarios and timing for effective test automation.
  • Advocate for "testability" early in the process during the design, grooming, and development phases.
  • Monitor production quality, coordinate defect management, and ensure timely resolution of quality risks.
  • Participate in functional testing within CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and secure product releases.
  • Work closely and proactively with developers, Product Owners, and IT partners, providing clear test results and identifying regression areas.

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering using C# / .NET, xUnit frameworks, and Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
  • Strong background in testing web applications built with .NET Core, microservices, RESTful APIs, and AngularJS (including cross-browser/cross-device validation).
  • Solid knowledge of databases and SQL (ability to write CRUD operations, work with JOINs, and validate data flows).
  • Practical understanding of Docker containerization basics and AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
  • Experience working in Agile environments and utilizing Azure DevOps for bug tracking and defect management.
  • Fluent English (min. B2) - as it is our primary language for daily communication.

Optional

  • Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as K6 or CloudTest.
