As our company continues to grow and data-driven solutions become increasingly important, we are expanding our Sales Team in Poland. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will actively grow our client portfolio—with a particular focus on data, analytics, and AI projects—build long-term business relationships, and strengthen cooperation with existing partners by identifying and developing business initiatives based on data-driven solutions..
In this position you will:- Actively expand our client portfolio within the Polish financial sector, with a strong focus on Data & AI solutions (data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and AI).
- Advise clients as a trusted partner on leveraging data to optimize business processes, improve risk management, enhance reporting, and support data-driven decision-making, with a strong understanding of the needs of the Polish financial market.
- Work closely with Business Unit Heads to identify client needs, develop market hypotheses, and validate business opportunities.
- Lead pre-sales activities, negotiate and close contracts, and ensure high-quality post-sales relationship management.
- Translate complex technology solutions into clear business value, adapting communication to different stakeholder groups, including CDOs, CFOs, and Risk Directors.
- Manage the sales pipeline, with a particular focus on developing high-value Data & AI opportunities.
- Build and expand your professional network, especially among leaders in Data, AI, Risk, Finance, and Digital Transformation.
- Have at least 3 years of experience selling IT services or products, particularly in the areas of data, analytics, AI, or cloud solutions.
- Have practical experience selling or delivering solutions such as:
- Data engineering and data platforms (e.g. data warehouses, lakehouse architectures),
- Business Intelligence and advanced analytics,
- AI and machine learning solutions.
- Understand the data lifecycle and can confidently discuss topics such as data quality, data governance, data architecture, and the use of data in business processes.
- Successfully build and develop a sales pipeline using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sales automation tools, and industry research, generating qualified leads and closing business opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the financial sector, identifying business needs and translating them into tailored solutions and commercial agreements.
- Have proven experience leading pre-sales processes, winning projects, closing contracts, and developing long-term client relationships through upselling and business expansion.
- Actively leverage your professional network to generate new business opportunities and grow your client portfolio.
- Communicate effectively with clients, driving the sales process from initial meetings through proposals to purchasing decisions.
- Consistently achieve sales targets by identifying solutions, removing bottlenecks, maintaining momentum throughout the sales cycle, and successfully closing opportunities.
Additionally, we value:
- Experience with sales automation tools, including platforms supporting advanced outbound sales campaigns.
- Knowledge of IT services such as custom software development, process automation, cloud solutions, data engineering, and UX/UI, particularly in the context of financial services projects.
