Responsible for independently managing procurement activities within the assigned IT goods and services category (primarily IT Services , but also including areas such as Hardware ), in accordance with corporate policies and standards. Ensures smooth operational and administrative processes, coordinates offer- and contract-related documentation, and supports analyses, market feedback, and operational optimization initiatives.
To strengthen our international IT organization, we are looking for a motivated and experienced IT Procurement Specialist with German (m/f/d) to support our global procurement and contract management activities from Poland.
Key responsibilities
Procurement & Tendering
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT Services and IT Hardware
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with national and international suppliers
- Coordinate purchasing activities from demand identification through purchase order placement and invoice approval
- Support contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements and service contracts
- Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and stakeholders across international offices
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and performance management processes
- Support for tender procedures and supplier selection
- Price and terms negotiations
- Preparing and coordinating contract documentation with departments and lawyers
- Procurement and supplier communication management
Supplier Management & Market Observation
- Participation in supplier relationship management
- Market monitoring and identifying cost optimization opportunities
- Risk reporting and recommending improvements
Process & Organizational Support
- Coordination of operational purchasing activities
- Maintaining contracts, orders, and invoices in systems
- Data for controlling, reporting, and auditing
- Support for process improvements in IT purchasing
Compliance & Collaboration
- Supporting compliance with policies, laws, and corporate standards
- Coordination of legal and compliance topics with stakeholders
- Collaboration with IT, suppliers, and internal departments
- Participation in meetings and Project teleconferences
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, or a related field
- Understanding of procurement and purchasing processes
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with a structured and proactive approach to work
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Fluency in English and German – you will work in an international environment.
- Several years of professional experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or a comparable role
