Your responsibilities
Ice-cream business in Poland has a clear goal – grow ahead of the market and play as an growth engine role within EU. One of the key elements of this is building strategies and effective support plans for channels with a clear priority on key customers.
If you are someone who enjoys finding opportunities, analyzing and drawing conclusions, creating channel/customer plans, managing a team, collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams, and you love ice cream, this role is for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Channel Strategy Development: Prepare channel strategy for OOH channels according to the Design 4 Channel Strategy. Actively participate in the IBP process, crafting the Trade Category plan and JTBD per channel and customer.
• Market Trend Analysis: Closely oversee customers’ shopping trends in the Ice Cream market, taking a strategic lead to ensure Unilever outperforms competitors.
• Team Leadership: Lead the Ice Cream CSP OOH team- 3 people to deploy category plans on time and in full.
• S&OP Process Input: Provide input (aligned with CBD) for the monthly S&OP process during activity plan, demand planning meetings, and cash-up process (e.g., promo, innovation, and pricing plans).
• Performance Management: Conduct monthly performance management reviews of activity execution with respective representatives of CBD teams
• Channel-Specific Planning: Prepare plans/activities for the channel, describing channel demands and category goals.
• Activity Implementation: Initiate, implement, and execute prepared activities/plans at the channel level. Track total category/channel business performance, monitor market share, financial, and execution performance to address issues and opportunities. Develop the channel by seeking and implementing new solutions to increase market share, turnover, and profit.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and CBD to develop channel plans/activities (including promo activities).
• Customer/Channel Inputs: Provide inputs and actively participate in BU.
• Budget Management: Control and effectively manage the budget: CPP and BMI.
• Pricing and Promo Strategy: Responsible for pricing and promo strategy per channel/customer to achieve SPI targets.
• Innovation Launch Plans: Define launch plans for innovation to channel and customers. Create distribution priorities per SKU and closely track TDPs.
• Internal Coordination: Coordinate department cooperation with internal partners – Sales, Marketing, Planning, Finance, NRM.
• External Representation: Represent UL at meetings with external customers – conferences, galas, workshops.

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS: <
• Minimum 6 years experience in FMCG business
• Experience in at least 2 functions within sales and/ or trade marketing/catman.

• Experience in delivering category & channel strategies.
• Experience in crafting promo strategies for categories and channels & customers.
• Proven Leadership skills: leads the team to the goals, keeps team motivation high, puts time & energy into team members professional development.
