As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will take technical ownership of electrical engineering solutions delivered in line with company, client and international standards. You will act as the technical authority on your projects - designing and reviewing engineering deliverables, approving design packages, and serving as a key technical point of contact for project teams, engineering management and clients. You will make sure all technical work is delivered on time and meets quality, safety and compliance requirements.

 

You may be a good fit if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a track record of owning electrical deliverables on projects,
  • a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls Engineering or a related field,
  • deep experience with electrical schematics, single line diagrams, component selection and AC/DC systems,
  • experience preparing, reviewing and approving engineering documentation and design packages,
  • strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, typical product design and relevant standards such as IEC and CE,
  • a solid grounding in risk management, EHS and QA, and the ability to apply company and industry standards to engineering designs,
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and proposing robust corrective actions,
  • fluent English , with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and to communicate, negotiate and influence across different stakeholders ( B2/C1 level ).

Nice to have:

  • experience with control cabinets,
  • experience in offshore, marine or similar industry-related projects,
  • previous experience in an international engineering environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • taking technical ownership of electrical engineering tasks and design packages, ensuring they meet company procedures, industry standards and project requirements,
  • preparing, reviewing and approving engineering documentation, including specifications, requirements, reports, drawings, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cabinet layouts and equipment data sheets,
  • designing and developing power and communication systems, including electrical calculations, analyses and Equipment BOMs,
  • reviewing technical queries and supporting project teams, customers and other stakeholders in resolving engineering issues, acting as a technical point of contact,
  • overseeing design packages through to completion, taking responsibility for technical quality and safety,
  • ensuring compliance with client, regulatory, safety and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle,
  • taking part in site visits when required, including occasional international travel.
