Senior Solution Architect

Education / Experience

• Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a complex or multiple solution/product context.
• Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for multiple solutions, and assessing the impacts of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and application landscapes.
• Proven track record of proactively contributing to architecture practices development and mentoring others.

Technical Skills

• In-depth and expert-level, hands on knowledge in multiple technology areas (including, cloud, on premise, networking, MLOps, AI architecture, data architecture).
• In depth knowledge of software development practices and design patterns.
• Proficiency in domain driven design and software integration patterns.
• Proficiency in creating Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, Ontologies, and Integration pathways for products.
• Ability to define and drive reference architectures, NFRs, and fitness functions.
• Strong capability to drive external technology trends and assess feasibility for multiple solutions, including conducting vendor assessments.

Additional Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence stakeholders to adopt different perspectives.
• Proactive mindset to identify opportunities to enhance value, improve existing solutions, manage technical debt, and lead teams in identifying innovative solutions.
• Experience with GxP processes and standards for software architecture, understanding system validation concepts and implications.
• Experience in compute heavy Scientific Computing and AI-driven orchestration of business processes.

Senior Solution Architect

At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. This role is based in our Drug Substance and Cell & Gene Therapy division, which is dedicated to building the "Lab of the Future" by transitioning traditional research into a data-driven ecosystem. By designing standards-based, future-ready digital platforms, you will directly enable scientists to plan complex studies and capture critical laboratory data. • Salary range: 19,075.00 - 35,425.00 PLN gross monthly based on the employment contract.
