Truck and Trailer Mechanic

Your responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and service trucks, trailers and equipment to keep downtime to a minimum;
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance so every vehicle is safe, reliable and fully compliant;
• Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on truck trailers;
• Drive trucks to and from service points;
• Keep maintenance records and documentation up to date;
• Manage spare parts and equipment stock;
• Keep tools and the workshop clean, tidy and in good order;
• Spot and report hazards, and help build a strong safety culture.

Our requirements

• Class C driving licence required; Class CE preferred;
• Upper secondary education; vocational or technical training in mechanics or maintenance is a plus;
• Solid knowledge of how vehicles, equipment and machinery work;
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems;
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs to manufacturer and company standards;
• Good spoken and written English;
• A reliable team player who takes pride in their work.
