About the project, You will join the Hilda 2.0 (HTC) modernization program, responsible for migrating multiple legacy .NET applications and MSSQL databases to a modular, cloud-native Azure ecosystem. The stack includes React + TypeScript frontends, .NET 9 APIs, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. Your work will be integral to building robust and reliable testing frameworks that ensure the quality of new and migrated components throughout the entire project lifecycle., , Sounds like your kind of challenge?

Your responsibilities, Own and evolve the automated testing process: frameworks, standards, best practices., Define and implement a comprehensive test strategy across unit, API, integration, and E2E levels., Build E2E automation in Playwright (React apps), backend integration/unit tests in xUnit (.NET), and frontend unit tests in Vitest/Jest., Embed automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (PR checks, nightly runs, pre-release gates)., Ensure test data management, maintain test reliability, and publish quality metrics., Validate data flows across Azure SQL, ODS, and DWH; design data-driven test scenarios., Collaborate closely with developers on acceptance criteria and mentor on testability., Support UAT: prepare environments, verify scenarios, and document results., Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.

5+ years in test automation with experience in custom framework development., Strong coding skills in C#/.NET and JavaScript/TypeScript., Hands-on experience with Playwright (or Selenium with willingness to switch)., Unit/integration testing in xUnit/NUnit, frontend testing with Vitest/Jest., Azure DevOps CI/CD integration., Solid SQL skills (MSSQL/Azure SQL)., REST API testing and authentication flows (Azure AD, JWT, OAuth)., Self-driven and capable of owning the test automation roadmap.

Optional, Knowledge of Azure services, ADF, ETL testing, Power BI verification., Contract testing (Pact), performance tools (k6, JMeter)., Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) familiarity and observability (App Insights)., Relevant certifications (ISTQB Advanced, Azure, Test Automation).
