Procurement Management Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-time procurement processes in accordance with applicable procedures and established procurement categories.
- Managing professional vendor selection processes according to the current Procurement Policy within the defined procurement category (setting vendor selection criteria and weights, creating inquiries, market analysis and research, collecting and comparing offers, evaluating offers, negotiations, selecting vendors).
- Preparing purchase requests according to established standards, templates, and approval paths.
- Creating, updating, and archiving procurement data and documentation.
- Verifying, modifying, and approving purchase contracts/amendments with suppliers based on existing standards and procedures, entering contracts into the internal system, and monitoring document validity.
- Verifying and approving costs, ensuring proper invoice settlement in the company system.
- Ongoing management of ERP/SAP systems and internal corporate systems.
- Analyzing and controlling costs, participating in the creation of annual budgets for assigned procurement categories.
- Building and maintaining an optimal vendor base in defined areas.
- Conducting vendor evaluation processes, assessing their efficiency, analyzing results, identifying areas for improvement, and developing relationships with vendors.
- Optimizing procurement processes by identifying areas for improvement, conducting audits, verification, and corrective actions to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Providing ongoing support to users and their requests, assisting in procurement and demand management, consulting on established standards.
- Preparing analyses, summaries, reports, and presentations.
Required skills:
- Ability to independently manage procurement processes and oversee procurement activities.
- Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (ERP/SAP).
- Proficiency in MS Office and other data analysis tools.
- Ability to analyze data related to procurement process management.
- Ability to create, verify, and update contracts with vendors.
- Ability to create and update procedures and implement optimization actions.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Negotiation skills.
