Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer based in Warsaw, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing backend systems, mostly via coding in Node.js and TypeScript. You'll work on unique product challenges including complex algorithms for demand prediction, optimal real-time pricing, routing, fraud detection, and distributed systems, collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders to scalably design backend systems and APIs.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing backend systems.
• Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to scalably design backend systems and APIs to meet their needs.
• Helping lead features and initiatives from idea to positive execution.
• Working closely with Product to slice scope and deliver piece by piece.
• Contributing ideas and constructive feedback to our product development roadmap.
