Senior QA Engineer - BPM room Łódź

We are currently partnering with a technology company specializing in workflow automation and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions for the banking and financial sector. The company develops enterprise-grade platforms that support digital transformation, process optimization, and automation of complex business workflows for large financial institutions.

We are now looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join the project and help ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions in a fast-paced agile environment.

Your daily responsibilities

• Individual contribution as a Senior QA Engineer in a complex product environment
• Define E2E test cases and automation scope
• Design, develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
• Plan and estimate the workload of tests and test automation
• Improve test coverage for key product areas and customer critical scenarios
• Execute tests and report test results
• Analyse automated test results and identify root causes of failures
• Report and follow up on defects found during testing
• Support production release preparation and validation
• Work with Jenkins-based test execution, including smoke tests and scheduled nightly test runs
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, review and retros in the context of Agile-based delivery processes
• Cooperate with developers, product testing, release management and domain experts
• Improve technical and domain knowledge

We need you to have

• Hands‑on experience in testing backend services (REST API)
• Hands‑on experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Postman)
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools used to run automated tests
• Understanding of web applications, integrations and API communication
• Experience with source code management tools and flows (Git, GitHub)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools for test management, defect tracking and documentation
• Working experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies (Code reviews, daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, review and retros)
• Fluency in English (both verbal & written)

Would be great if you have

• Experience with Allure or similar test reporting tools
• Experience with low‑code platforms, workflow systems or BPMN based processes
• Experience with banking, financial or other regulated business domains
• Basic SQL knowledge for test data verification
• Experience with performance testing or performance diagnostics
• Experience with AI tools supporting test design, test automation or failure analysis
• Basic understanding of container‑based test environments

Our offer

• Remuneration: 1.000–1.200 PLN daily on a B2B contract or between 17.000 - 19.000 PLN gross/ month on an Employment Agreement (UoP), depending on your experience
