We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help shape core platform architecture and build scalable backend systems across cloud and hybrid environments. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, guide key technical decisions, and contribute to modern, resilient services using Java, .NET, Kubernetes , and event‑driven patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive technical decisions by evaluating technologies, running POCs/benchmarks, and recommending frameworks, datastores, and SaaS‑scale infrastructure.
• Shape platform architecture across Kubernetes (AKS), Kafka, workflow orchestration, and multi‑tenant data models.
• Guide teams through design/code reviews, RFCs, scalability, and cloud‑readiness alignment.
• Raise engineering standards through mentoring on GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and supply‑chain security.
• Evaluate on‑prem systems for scalability, performance, resiliency, security, and define migration paths to SaaS.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to validate architecture decisions against real customer and field insights.
• Produce architecture artifacts including C4 diagrams, RFCs, design reviews, and benchmarks for leadership.
• Build and improve microservices in Java (Spring), JDK 21+, and .NET using cloud‑native, API‑first, resilient, well‑tested patterns.
• Create reusable tooling through shared libraries, templates, and platform examples.
• Use AI‑assisted development and review generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• Senior engineering leadership with 10+ years of experience and strong technical decision‑making.
• Technical education through a Computer Science, Engineering degree or equivalent practical background.
• Java/Spring expertise with hands‑on development in modern Spring ecosystems.
• C#/.NET architecture skills including code/design reviews, scalability guidance, and cloud‑readiness support.
• Directory services knowledge covering Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, authentication protocols, and directory models.
• Windows/on‑prem reasoning for agents, domain controllers, customer environments, and dual on‑prem/SaaS constraints.
• Production Kubernetes experience including service design, Helm/GitOps, autoscaling, and multi‑tenant SaaS operations.
• Distributed data fundamentals with partitioning, consistency trade‑offs, ingestion/ETL, query tuning, and relational DBs at scale plus NoSQL/analytical exposure.
• Event‑driven architecture using Kafka/RabbitMQ, API‑first design, resilience patterns, and observability practices.
• Strong documentation skills for producing RFCs, design docs, and influencing teams without direct authority.

Nice to have:

• Go, Azure, workflow engines (e.g. Temporal).
• Experience with Spring Reactive.
• Exposure to identity security, such as ITDR, privileged access management, or identity governance.
