Delivery Manager

Join an international digital consultancy as a Senior Delivery Manager and take a leading role in a large transformation program for a US business unit. The project focuses on moving from legacy mainframe systems to a modern cloud architecture. Senior Delivery Manager is a role with end-to-end ownership of specific workstreams. Openness to automation and AI-based tools will be a strong advantage in this environment. You’ll work fully in English with global teams, can be based anywhere in Poland, and the start date is in July.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of key workstreams: making sure both areas move forward in line with the wider transformation plan.
• Build structured project plans that clearly show priorities, dependencies, timelines and milestones.
• Run workshops and gather requirements directly from technical teams, then turn them into clear scope, priorities and deliverables for the client.
• Manage the critical path, dependencies and delivery risks across multiple teams and activities, which is essential in large modernization and migration programs.
• Coordinate releases and the move of working software into production, including handover to managed services and client operations.
• Bring a strong consulting mindset: challenge assumptions, create structure, and help teams and stakeholders make clear decisions.
• Control and report on multiple project budgets (T&M and Fixed Price), understanding how scope and change affect commercial outcomes.
• Support delivery in an Agile environment while also taking on responsibilities similar to a Scrum Master where needed.
• Use automation and AI-supported approaches where useful to improve the modernization process and delivery efficiency.

Ideal candidate profile

• Strong experience leading complex transformation programs, not only standard project coordination.
• Proven background in delivery or project management in software, ideally in agile and cloud‑oriented environments.
• Very good understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and software delivery processes; hands-on work is not required, but strong conceptual knowledge is essential
• English at a fluent level (C1) – everyday work and all recruitment steps are in English with UK‑based colleagues.
• Experience managing technical workstreams such as DevOps / infrastructure and QA.
• Ability to gather requirements directly from engineers and technical teams, define scope, and create clarity around deliverables.
• Strong skills in dependency management, critical path planning, stakeholder communication and risk management.
• Confident, proactive and comfortable working in a role that combines elements of Project Manager and Scrum Master.
• Consulting-style mindset, with the ability to work through ambiguity and bring order to complex programs.
• Openness to modern tools, automation and AI-driven ways of working.
• Readiness to start job in July.

Conditions

• Employment type: B2B contract
• Salary: to 200 PLN net/h
• Work model: 100% remote from any place in Poland
• Availability: ASAP
• Contract duration: 7 months with possible extension
