Azure DevOps Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to manage and continuously improve our DevOps capabilities within a regulated financial services environment.

You will take ownership of the engineering practices, tooling, automation, and cloud infrastructure that enable development teams to build, test, deploy, operate, and monitor applications reliably and securely.

You will work closely with our internal teams to establish scalable DevOps standards while ensuring solutions meet the security, resilience, auditability, and governance expectations of a financial services organisation.

• Dependency Management
• Application Infrastructure
• Infrastructure Orchestration
• Monitoring and analytics
• Testing and Cloud Quality tool
• Optimising the cost of several Tenants and Subscriptions

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience (5+ years) as Azure DevOps Engineer and optionally Azure Cloud Administrator
• Experience with MS SQL and Azure SQL databases 
• Knowledge of System Security
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science and Professional Certification will be advantageous
