Senior Business Analyst / AI Translator Asset Servicing (New Issue)

Your responsibilities, Act as the bridge between Asset Servicing business stakeholders and the AI delivery team, translating operational and regulatory requirements into functional specifications engineers and data scientists can build against., Own the New Issue domain end-to-end: model current-state and target-state processes, including allocations, primary market settlement, safekeeping account set-up, and their links to corporate actions., Define and validate business rules, edge cases, and exception scenarios that AI agents and automation pipelines must handle correctly., Review AI/ML outputs, extraction results, reconciliation matches, agent decisions against real market practice, and flag where model behavior diverges from business reality., Write user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for the delivery team, and support UAT together with client operations teams., Work directly with our solutions architect and AI/data science team to prioritize backlog items based on business impact and technical feasibility., Engage directly with client subject-matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and manage expectations.

Several years of hands-on Business Analyst experience in Financial Market Infrastructure, with deep, demonstrable expertise in Asset Servicing., Specific, hands-on knowledge of New Issue processes: primary market settlement, allocations, safekeeping account structures, and their relationship to corporate actions., Proven ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear specifications that technical teams, including AI/ML teams, can act on without back-and-forth., Comfortable acting as the domain authority in a room of engineers and data scientists, able to say “that's not how the market actually works” and explain why., Experience writing user stories, functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria., Conscientious about data handling and confidentiality in a financial services context., Working professional English.

Optional, Prior exposure to AI/ML delivery projects, even as a business stakeholder, or familiarity with how AI agents and LLMs are typically evaluated and validated., Familiarity with agile delivery (backlog grooming, sprint ceremonies) in a cross-functional tech team., Comfortable presenting findings or demos directly to client stakeholders.

The problem you're solving, Our AI delivery team builds agent pipelines, automation, and extraction systems for Asset Servicing operations, but those systems only hold up if the business logic behind them matches how the market works. We need someone who knows New Issue processing inside and out and can translate that expertise into requirements, process maps, and validation criteria our AI and data science engineers can build against.

What we're not looking for, You don't need to be a data scientist or write code; that's not the job. We're looking for someone who knows Asset Servicing and New Issue processing cold, and who wants to put that expertise to work shaping AI solutions rather than staying purely on the business side.
