OTC Specialist with Danish

Location: Gdańsk | Languages: English +Danish

We are recruiting for a growing financial operations team in Gdańsk. In this role, you will support end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash processes, ensuring accurate management of customer accounts, timely collection activities, and a high standard of service for internal and external stakeholders.

Main purpose of the position:

You will be responsible for comprehensive management of customer accounts, including monitoring outstanding balances, coordinating collection activities, and negotiating payment schedules to secure timely settlements. You will verify incoming payments, support the preparation of monthly cash forecasts, and collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

What you will do:

Managing and monitoring customer accounts

Identifying and analyzing reasons for delayed payments, such as liquidity issues, service‑related concerns, or administrative inaccuracies

Verifying and reconciling incoming customer payments

Coordinating collection activities and ensuring compliance with agreed payment deadlines

Handling customer complaints and resolving account‑ or invoice‑related issues

Providing professional customer support via phone, Microsoft Teams, and online meetings

Managing internal and external inquiries with timely and accurate communication

Supporting monthly cash flow forecasting and contributing to OTC process improvements

Professional skills you possess:

Bachelor’s degree or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields (preferred)

1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Shared Service Centre environment

Previous experience in Cash Collection and Customer Service

Very good command of English (min. B2) and Danish (min. B2), enabling smooth communication with clients

Proficiency in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables

Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work in a structured, deadline‑driven environment

Catalan is an advantage but not required
