Databricks Admin

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years (Regular) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in cloud systems administration, data infrastructure, or a DevOps / Cloud Engineer role. 
• Hands-on, proven Databricks experience from an administrative perspective (both workspace and account console levels). 
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable). 
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity management (SSO/IAM), as well as networking and auditing configurations. 
• Strong problem-solving skills (troubleshooting) and the ability to work independently and make architectural decisions. 
• Version control experience (Git) (knowledge of Infrastructure as Code / Terraform for Databricks automation is a plus). 

Workplace: Mostly remote, ocassional visits in Cracow

We are looking for a person that will act as Databricks Admin, including administration on the tenant level (not limited to EDP).

Key Responsibilities

• Create, configure, and manage Databricks workspaces across environments (dev/test/prod)
• Manage account-level settings, subscriptions, and cloud resource integrations
• Configure workspace features, settings, and platform capabilities
• Manage authentication (SSO, identity federation) and integrate with identity providers, resolve issues
• Ensure data security (encryption, network controls, auditability)
• Create and manage clusters, SQL warehouses, and compute configurations
• Define and enforce cluster policies (size, auto-termination, instance types)
• Optimize resource usage for performance and cost
• Monitor platform usage, cluster health, and job execution
• Maintain and analyze audit logs and usage metrics
• Ensure visibility into performance, security, and system activity
• Support data engineers and key user on using the platform
