Executive Director, Strategic Delivery & Growth - General Medicine

Senior leader sought to drive strategic delivery and growth for Fortrea's General Medicine portfolio. Will oversee clinical development strategy, manage cross-functional teams, build client relationships, and guide business development across rare diseases and pediatrics therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead business growth through design and development of innovative trial solutions for rare diseases and pediatrics
• Develop and execute General Medicine strategic roadmap and shape therapeutic area growth strategies
• Build and manage high-performing Strategic Delivery & Growth capability with clear accountability
• Lead end-to-end business development including RFI response, proposal development, and client presentations
• Partner with Delivery, Medical, Commercial and functional leaders to ensure evidence-based, executable strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree minimum; advanced degree, APRN, MPH, PhD, or MBA preferred
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO research and development and clinical research
• 3+ years leading cross-functional full development programs from concept to operational delivery in General Medicine
• 5+ years global leadership experience in complex, matrixed environments managing teams
• Established senior relationships with pharma, biotech, KOLs, and relevant therapeutic ecosystem partners
• Demonstrated financial acumen in P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management
• Track record translating market intelligence into differentiated positioning and commercial outcomes

Compensation: €115,900–€186,610 base gross per year
