Business Development Manager for the Energy Sector (m/f)

Your responsibilities

• Market development and active acquisition of new customers in the energy (and in particular nuclear energy) sector.
• Building and maintaining relationships with partners, investors, and industry organizations.
• Identifying business opportunities and developing a long-term sales strategy as well as a strategy for expanding the energy sector services portfolio.
• Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and business meetings.
• Cooperation with the company’s international divisions on projects for the nuclear sector.

Our requirements

• University degree in Engineering (preferable Power Engineering) or Economics.
• Experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the industrial or energy sector, including market entry strategies, sales pipeline development, competitor analysis, and business planning.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Enegry sector (with preferencein the the nuclear sector or hi tech power sector projects), including engineering, manufacturing, certification, inspection, EPC, QA/QC, or supply chain management.
• Excellent understanding the Polish energy market, particularly the Polish Nuclear Energy Programme (PPEJ) and the lifecycle of nuclear investment projects.
• Knowledge of current and planned nuclear projects in Poland, including SMR technologies, as well as key suppliers, EPC contractors, and market stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 19443, ASME NQA-1, nuclear safety culture principles, and supplier qualification processes within the nuclear sector will be a strong advantage.
• Documented strong sales and negotiation skills, including experience in selling high-value technical services.
• Practical knowledge of public procurement procedures.
• Fluent Polish and very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level, C1 preferred).
• Readiness to travel on business.
• High level of independence, proactivity, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Optional

• Experience in international projects and cooperation with countries utilizing nuclear technologies.
• Team building and Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of German.
