Responsibilities

• Preparing large steel and metal elements for painting (cleaning, degreasing, sanding)
• Preparing surfaces for painting (priming, filling) with anti-corrosion protection
• Masking and securing areas not intended for painting
• Painting using airless methods
• Applying 2K acrylic paints and industrial protective coatings
• Layered painting (primer, intermediate, and topcoat)
• Painting elements for amusement attractions and roller coasters
• Processing complex-shaped elements and hard-to-reach areas
• Controlling the thickness of coatings and drying times according to guidelines
• Quality control and removal of painting defects (e.g., runs, orange peel, inclusions)
• Touch-ups and finishing surfaces, including polishing
• Preparing and mixing painting materials according to manufacturer instructions
• Documenting completed work and inspection results
• Transporting and positioning elements in the painting booth
• Collaborating with the welding and production departments
• Cleaning and maintaining airless painting equipment
• Resolving minor issues with painting equipment
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and environmental protection standards
• Maintaining order and safety at the workplace
• Assisting with simple production tasks

Requirements

• Proficient in German (at least conversational)
• Professional experience
• Experience in airless painting techniques
