Senior Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our mission of protecting the digital world.

The role is part of our Acronis Cloud-to-Cloud Backup team. You will help to develop and execute E2E, Component, Acceptance, and Regression UI auto tests. This involves working collaboratively with product managers, developers, and other teams, including R&D departments based in other offices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Communicate with product managers and developers to understand business and technical requirements
• Review and understand the product and all of its requirements
• Design test suites and cases
• Develop automation tests, including automation tests for web UI
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on automation code to ensure quality and maintainability
• Execute and maintain regression test suites to validate the stability of software releases
• Analyze test automation results
• Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and ensuring clear communication of testing activities

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation QA Python Engineer
• Knowledge of quality assurance theory: principles, methodologies, and techniques
• Tech stack: Python, API/UI testing with Playwright Framework or similar, Jira, Git, Jenkins, Docker
• Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical problems
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or similar cloud-based systems is a plus
• Upper‑intermediate English
