The role is based in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week from a modern office in the centre of Warsaw.

Your responsibilities

• Own and develop tax technology solutions across the full lifecycle: intake, design, build, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
• Partner with Global Tax, Finance, Technology and external vendors to define and deliver the tax technology roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, automate and improve global tax processes through systems, data and analytics.
• Act as solution owner for selected tax platforms, ERP tax capabilities and related integrations.
• Lead solution design and functional discussions across indirect tax, direct tax, tax provisioning, statutory reporting and tax data transparency.
• Provide hands-on expertise in ERP tax configuration, tax determination logic, tax codes, jurisdiction rules and related controls.
• Support integrations between ERP systems, tax engines, reporting tools and data platforms.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design and process documentation for tax technology initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet global regulatory, audit, SOX and internal control requirements.
• Oversee testing activities, including UAT, regression testing and validation of tax calculations.
• Manage vendor delivery, prioritization of initiatives and quality of implemented solutions.
• Prepare user documentation, training materials and change communication.
• Monitor operational performance, support issue resolution and drive continuous improvement across tax technology processes.

Employer requirements

• 5+ years of experience in tax technology, ERP, systems implementation, consulting or Finance Technology roles.
• Strong practical experience in tax-related systems, integrations and global implementation projects.
• Solid understanding of indirect and/or direct tax processes in an international environment.
• Experience with ERP tax configuration and finance system integrations.
• Knowledge of tax technology or reporting tools such as Vertex, ONESOURCE, Meridian, SAP Tax, SAP DRC, Alteryx or Power BI.
• Experience across the full systems development lifecycle, from requirements and design through testing, deployment and support.
• Ability to translate tax and business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Strong documentation, testing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with vendors, cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
• Prior consulting, client service delivery or project management experience would be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, Tax or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a changing, international environment.
