General Ledger Accountant with English (and German)

Your responsibilities

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for:

- Ensuring the proper execution of accounting processes for a production entity

- Preparing production controlling reports and analyses

- Performing end-to-end month-end closing activities

- Participating in the preparation of financial statements

- Reconciling and posting intercompany balances

- Handling day-to-day journal entries and account reconciliations within the General Ledger and Fixed Assets areas

- Supervising and cooperating with other accounting teams (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Treasury)

- Cooperating with internal and external auditors

- Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting activities, including managerial P&L reviews

- Supporting the VAT reporting process for entities located in Germany

- Preparing statistical reports for German authorities

- Documenting existing processes and procedures

- Preparing ad hoc reports and analyses

Our requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (minimum Bachelor's degree)
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, ideally within a manufacturing/production environment
• At least 4 years of professional experience in accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting for a manufacturing/production entity
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• High level of integrity and ethical standards
• Very good command of English (C1)
• Good command of German (B2) will be considered an advantage
• 60% office attendance required (3 days from office / 2 days home office)
