Maintenance Engineer (m/k/d)

Job Purpose

Position: Maintenance Engineer (k/m/d)
Location: Kraków

Responsible for monitoring the work and technical status of machines and equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing root causes, preventive measures, planning and documenting maintenance, coordination with external vendors, and handling documentation. Works closely with other departments during commissioning, acceptance, and relocation of machines, and initiates process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring work and technical status of machines and equipment.


• Solving technical problems concerning machines and equipment.


• Analyzing failure causes and initiating preventive measures.


• Planning, performing, and documenting maintenance, inspections, and repairs.


• Coordinating with external companies for ordering machine parts and materials.


• Cooperating with other departments during commissioning, acceptance, and relocation.


• Initiating and executing process improvements.


• Building test benches based on automation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.


• Participating in investment and modernization projects.


• Managing documentation and planning minimal spare parts and materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma in electrical or automation field.


• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.


• Basic English proficiency.


• Self‑sufficient work capability.


• Creativity, reliability, and good work organization.


• Knowledge of safety (BHP) concepts.


• Experience with PLC controllers and automation.


• Ability to use measurement equipment.


• Knowledge of ATEX (preferred).


• SEP GR1,2,3 E,D qualifications (preferred).


• Experience in crane maintenance (preferred).


• Basic mechanical skills.
