Your new role  

For our Client we are looking for an experienced Product Owner / Technical Product Manager to drive the development of innovative connected vehicle solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and roadmap of cloud-to-cloud backend services while ensuring seamless integration with in-vehicle HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems.

You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including software development teams, technology partners, suppliers, and OEM organizations, to deliver scalable, customer-focused digital products in a dynamic Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud-to-cloud backend services and their interaction with in-vehicle HMI systems.
• Gather, analyze, and align business requirements from multiple stakeholders, ensuring consistency between backend capabilities and user-facing vehicle functionalities.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, technical dependencies, and customer needs.
• Coordinate collaboration between OEM partners, suppliers, backend development teams, and HMI specialists.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release objectives.
• Support Agile product development processes and facilitate effective decision-making across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that product development activities comply with confidentiality requirements, competition law regulations, and established rules for information exchange among business partners.
• Monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous product evolution.

What you'll need to succeed  

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Project Manager, or a similar role within software-driven environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and software delivery processes.
• Experience working with cloud services, system integrations, APIs, or connected digital ecosystems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Codebeamer, or similar platforms.
• Experience within automotive software, connected vehicles, mobility solutions, or embedded systems environments will be considered a strong advantage.
• Understanding of in-vehicle HMI systems, digital user experiences, or automotive software integration is a plus.
