About the project, We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join a long-term project within the data management area of a large international financial organization., , This is not a typical delivery PM role. The position combines IT Project Management with Data Quality Governance, with a strong focus on managing data quality issues, coordinating multiple teams, prioritizing the backlog, driving Root Cause Analysis, and ensuring effective issue resolution.

Your responsibilities, Own and coordinate the Data Quality Governance / Data Quality Issue Management process,, Run triage meetings and coordinate activities across multiple teams and domains,, Manage and prioritize the data quality issue backlog,, Monitor ticket ownership, progress, dependencies, and resolution,, Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure identified issues are followed through to closure,, Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and escalations,, Drive accountability across involved teams and stakeholders,, Identify and implement structural process improvements,, Improve intake, prioritization, issue clustering, and closure processes,, Identify opportunities for process automation,, Prepare transparent management reporting on progress, risks, ownership, and backlog,, Cooperate with multiple business, data, and technology stakeholders.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including experience in IT Project Management,, Practical experience in Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Quality Issue Management,, Experience in owning or coordinating governance processes rather than only participating in them,, Experience in backlog and triage management,, Practical experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA),, Strong stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating multiple teams or domains,, Experience in prioritization, dependency management, and escalation,, Experience in management-level reporting,, Strong ownership and ability to drive accountability across teams,, Very good command of English.

Optional, Experience in the banking or financial sector,, Knowledge of Data Management / Data Warehouse environments,, Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments.
