Platform Owner for PostgreSQL and Db2

We are looking for a Platform Owner for PostgreSQL and Db2 databases to lead the strategic development, resilience, and compliance of our critical data infrastructure platforms. This is a full‑time permanent infrastructure role that focuses on ensuring stable, secure and high‑performing database support for business‑critical applications across Poland and Finland.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the platform strategy and roadmap for PostgreSQL and Db2.
• Drive resilience, availability and always‑on capabilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Lead platform modernization, including automation and AI capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure governance and lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience working with PostgreSQL, Db2 or similar enterprise database infrastructure platforms.
• Strong understanding of high availability and resilience.
• Experience with compliance and security requirements.
• Experience driving technology roadmaps.

Desired Skills

• Experience with AI/ML enablement on data platforms.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience from financial services.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with infrastructure engineering and operations.
