Accounts Payable Team Leader (German-speaking)

Your responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team supporting multiple European entities
• Take full ownership of end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, vendor queries and payment execution
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant processing of supplier invoices and payments
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing escalations and building strong relationships
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance and implement actions to improve service quality and efficiency
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization and automation across entities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements and company policies
• Support team development through coaching, feedback and performance management

Our requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (invoice processing, payments, vendor management)
• Proven experience in managing end-to-end AP operations across multiple countries
• At least 2 years in a Team Leader or supervisory role in SSC/Finance
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced transactional environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills in an international environment, with ability to build effective relationships and manage expectations
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and standardization initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate and develop a team
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Solid knowledge of SAP ERP (Accounts Payable module) and good understanding of AP processes, controls and payment cycles
• Experience with reporting, KPI tracking and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with automation tools is an advantage
• German language (written and spoken) is mandatory, with good command of English for daily business communication
