Senior Test Manager / QA Lead

Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall QA and testing activities within the Agile Release Train
- Plan, coordinate and manage functional and non-functional testing across approximately 4–6 Scrum teams
- Drive integration, system integration and end-to-end testing across the initiative
- Ensure that all required testing types and levels are properly planned, executed, monitored and reported in accordance with internal processes
- Define and continuously improve the overall test approach, strategy, processes and tooling
- Coordinate QA activities in alignment with release and deployment plans
- Ensure availability and readiness of test environments and appropriate test data
- Ensure that sufficient test evidence is available before changes are approved for production
- Identify QA risks, dependencies, impediments and testing challenges and drive appropriate solutions
- Contribute to release readiness assessments and provide relevant quality metrics for release sign-offs
- Monitor testing progress and communicate QA status, risks and improvement initiatives to key IT and business stakeholders
- Work closely with ART Leadership, Product Management, Business, Architects, Release Management and Scrum Teams to align testing priorities
- Act as a trusted QA partner for ART Leadership and support continuous maturity of testing practices within the area
- Drive continuous improvement and introduce QA and testing best practices across the initiative
- Identify testing skill gaps and coach team members to improve QA capabilities and delivery quality
- Increase test automation coverage and related KPIs across design, development, maintenance and operations
- Escalate quality risks, dependencies and impediments when required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a QA leadership, Test Manager or similar role
- Proven experience leading QA activities for multiple teams in large and complex initiatives
- Experience within the financial sector, preferably within Mortgage, Lending or Home Finance
- Strong experience with functional and non-functional testing
- Strong experience with system testing, system integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing
- Experience with test automation and managing automated testing initiatives
- Experience with test environment and test data management
- Strong knowledge of test management tools and QA reporting
- Experience preparing test dashboards, quality metrics, management reports and presentations
- Proven track record of acting as a key QA/Test Lead throughout the full lifecycle of large projects
- Experience coaching and developing QA teams and improving testing processes
- Understanding of legacy systems and their impact on modern testing environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive approach, strong ownership and ability to drive QA activities independently
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
