Job Description
Network & Capacity Planning Execution:
Plan and coordinate capacity and production activities across network changes (e.g., warehouse launches, closures, automation rollouts), ensuring smooth operational transitions without service disruption.
Order Allocation & DOM Optimization:
Manage and continuously improve order allocation settings (DOM), including order splitting and sales area management, to balance service levels and operational costs.
Production Planning (PPT) Management:
- Own and operate the Production Planning Template (PPT), integrating inbound, outbound, and fullness forecasts.
- Ensure planning decisions (e.g., pre-purchase, migrations) are aligned with capacity and demand.
Labor Capacity Planning:
- Work closely with Operations and Fulfillment Excellence to define, monitor, and adjust inbound and outbound labor capacity.
- Support slot planning and ensure alignment between supplier deliveries and warehouse capabilities.
Warehouse Capacity & Fullness Control:
- Maintain accurate visibility of warehouse capacity and storage utilization.
- Ensure system data reflects physical reality and support improvements in space utilization and planning accuracy.
Forecasting & Volume Planning:
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and mid-term volume forecasts for outbound and inbound flows.
- Translate forecasts into actionable plans for operations and support budgeting processes.
Performance Tracking & Process Improvement:
Monitor key KPIs (e.g., throughput, capacity utilization, cost efficiency), identify operational inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvements in planning processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on labor and capacity planning, inventory optimization, and network design.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
