Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure DevOps Engineer – Freelance/B2B We are currently seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join a team of Senior DevOps Engineers. You will be responsible for managing, optimising, and securing Azure cloud and edge infrastructure, with a strong focus on Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and production support. Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension Engagement: Freelance / B2B Key Responsibilities Manage, maintain, and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure and production Kubernetes (AKS) clusters. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Implement and maintain infrastructure security, Azure networking, and configuration management. Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across cloud and edge environments. Use scripting and automation to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability. Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure. Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to support effective delivery and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Ansible, and Git. Practical experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Copilot. Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Helm, Azure networking, and cloud security. Proficiency in PowerShell or Python for scripting and automation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud and production environments. Desirable Microsoft Azure or Kubernetes-related certifications.
