Junior QA Engineer (Java/Selenium)

• Up to 2 years of experience in software testing
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of manual testing techniques and defect reporting
• Basic programming knowledge, preferably in Java
• Familiarity with test automation concepts and an interest in developing automation skills
• Exposure to testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Postman , or similar tools would be an advantage
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative and willingness to learn

Nice to have:

• Basic knowledge of Maven and IntelliJ IDEA
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes , or cloud platforms such as AWS
• Interest in performance, security, or exploratory testing
