EMEA Payroll Specialist (Austria)

Danaher seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll execution for EMEA countries, with a focus on Austrian and DACH region operations. The role ensures regulatory compliance, processes complex payroll calculations, and drives process improvements across the region. Remote position based in Austria, Poland, or Hungary.

Responsibilities

• Process Austrian and DACH payrolls with accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure compliance with country-specific and regional payroll regulations and file required reports
• Validate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and escalate complex issues to management
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records including tax withholdings and benefits
• Support payroll system upgrades, integrations, and standardization across EMEA

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Human Resources
• Minimum 5 years of complex payroll processing experience
• Deep expertise in Austrian payroll regulations and statutory requirements
• German language proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Professional English proficiency
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, or SAP preferred

Compensation: EUR 66,333–75,000 gross annual base
