Job Overview

The Brand Manager is an individual contributor, a developing subject matter expert, who works independently with minimal supervision. He/she serves as a subject matter expert on Product Management strategy, providing advanced insights into market performance and product trends. The role drives data‑driven solutions for stakeholders and customers, leveraging analytics to develop go‑to‑market strategies for new products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop commercial tactics and messaging plans to drive optimal launch and brand positioning locally, aligned with EMEA brand strategy.
  • Monitor local brand performance and provide standard KPIs and metrics in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of segmentation, targeting, channel and marketing mix strategy, ensuring relevant customer information is entered into iConnect and other tools.
  • Perform market research – planning, insights, and execution.
  • Update business planning, forecasting, product sheets, marketing mix analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Develop and monitor product budget, ensuring expenses stay within budget and impact product contribution.
  • Develop partnerships with medical societies, opinion leaders, consumers, patients, clients and other enterprises to deliver key projects.
  • Ensure safety reporting requirements and HCC/legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with.
  • Maintain highest standards of ethics, quality, compliance and accountability; complete compulsory training on time; act in accordance with the Quality & Compliance Core Objective.
  • Leverage own network of KOLs and key stakeholders to build and monitor company/brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other sales and marketing teams to search for new opportunities through systematic assessment of market trends, unmet needs and competitive activity.
  • Manage day‑to‑day Product Management operations, execute strategy, employ customer‑centric approach, incorporate industry best practices into recurring processes.
  • Coach and train junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
  • Develop, lead and ensure execution of business plans to meet future needs and expectations.
  • Ensure brand integrity by leading efforts across multiple functions and channels; implement tactical plans providing appropriate promotional materials; use appropriate communication channels.
  • Monitor and control budget to assess promotional effectiveness; work productively with external agencies and cross‑functional groups.
  • Generate presentations and reports highlighting key performance indicators and market complexities.
  • Utilize predictive analytical tools to forecast product performance and recommend enhancements.
