About the project, We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to assume ownership of backend services, cloud infrastructure, integrations, and deployment processes. This hands-on senior role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, platform engineering, and DevOps responsibilities. The person in this role will design and implement APIs, manage data models and databases, maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and develop integrations across internal and external systems. The candidate should be able to operate independently, make technical decisions, and contribute across the full solution lifecycle., , Target Seniority:, Senior Consultant (7+ years)., Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus., Technical Lead or Solution Architect with hands-on coding capabilities.

Your responsibilities, Design, develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Django REST Framework., Own application data models and database design, with a focus on PostgreSQL., Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform components in Microsoft Azure., Build, maintain and improve containerized environments using Docker., Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments and delivery., Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and manage related configuration., Develop serverless components and functions, including Azure Functions where appropriate., Design integrations between internal systems and external services, ensuring secure and maintainable interfaces., Contribute to architectural decisions, platform reliability, scalability and operational practices., Provide technical leadership and mentorship as required while remaining a hands-on contributor.

Extensive professional experience in Python development (senior level, typically 7+ years)., Proven experience with Django REST Framework for API development., Strong experience designing and operating PostgreSQL., Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and platform operations., Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker., Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines., Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep., Experience developing and deploying Azure Functions or similar serverless components., Solid understanding of backend architecture principles, scalable system design and API best practices., Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical solutions and communicate technical decisions clearly.

Optional, Experience with Azure Machine Learning or related ML platform services., Experience designing and operating data pipelines and ETL processes., Background in cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.
